You don’t have to choose between enjoying delicious food and eating nutritiously.

MindfulBellyfull represents the fusion of conscious, intentional food choices made to optimize health, with the deep-felt belief that meal times should be filled with richly enjoyable dishes that you want to share with loved ones.

Often clients expect that becoming healthier involves leaving behind richness of taste and enjoyment of food. My personal experience is just the opposite of that, and that is what led me to want to share recipes here on the blog.

My journey as both a home-cook and nutritionist has introduced me to the most incredible abundance of flavors and nutrients in the plants and animals that surround us, and are increasingly available world wide. My goal is to show you how easy it is to incorporate them in to your everyday life.

All food approaches welcome.

I am a graduate of the Human Nutrition Masters program at the University of Bridgeport, and earned my Certified Nutrition Specialist license shortly after graduating, but I learned the benefits of nutrition personally before professionally.

In 2001 I graduated with a B.S. in Mathematics from university in England, before setting off around the world for 15 years of late nights and spreadsheets in the financial services industry.

Such times took their toll and I needed my own healing, through which came a dedication to all things food and feelings.

In 2016, I made my nutrition passion a full time focus and have been engrossed in the latest theory and practice ever since. My approach is centered around a core belief that nutrition personalization is key.

When I’m not with clients, I can be found experimenting with recipes in my kitchen or exploring my home, Connecticut, with my husband and two kids.
